With the economy as bad as it is, with people losing their
medical insurance and unable to afford mortgage payments or
temporary medical insurance , the military looks like a great option. Recruiting is at all time high levels because of this. Is it right or fair, I don't know, but it is providing a service and h…

Hey all,
Today we went out to a progressive teachers conference down in Washington. Met with a whole bunch of teachers that have numerous stories about how the recruiters prey on young people. One person told a story about how a recruiter was preying on a develomentally disabled person. They kept calling and when she told them that he was developmentally disabled, they still kept calling. How sick is that! They will try and dupe any person they can into fighting. These motherfuckers are getting…

Robert,
Your argument for supporting the military's injustices and criminal activities has more holes in it than the proverbial swiss cheese. For starters, check your spelling and grammar before you start calling others stupid and ignorant. You are exactly the kind of person the military is recruiting at the moment; a simple minded fool who can't or won't allow his brain to formulate a critical thought towards a government.Even if you were living under a Stalin like government, your brain would work…

What would happen to your city if there were no police officers? Your cities would be in ruins and probably run by thugs and criminals. We use the police to protect ourselves and our families. The military does the exact same thing but on a broader scale. Instead of just protecting one city, they protect the whole country. I too, have lost a loved one in the war, but I’m not joining some anti-military group because of it. Everybody who joins the service has done it VOLUNTEERALY!! Yeah there may…

Recruiters eat your babies and brainwash you! They are evil government agents with mind warping capabilities! Hahahahaha.
Recruiters are men and women who get pulled from their normal job in the military. They would much rather be doing that than dealing with sniveling brats who never worked a day in their life. But, its cool. They gladly accept the challenge because they know they possess a strength that most of the American population will never even understand. They are often combat veterans…

What is really funny is how many students love to play Call of Duty on their Playstations and XBoxes, and yet if it came down to doing anything similar in real life...well, the story changes. Glorifying violence in video games is acceptable, I guess. But making the unfortunate and tough decision to act in violence in order to protect and defend a nation is not justifiable. Because the world is such a happy place, where everyone holds hands and enjoys Pepsi while watching the TV in their cozy liv…

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." John Stuart Mill
Keep living spoiled little lives. Its so much easier to protest…

Two Wings One Beast
How do we solve the two party problem in the USA?
The first thing we must do is convince our friends, family, co-workers, and complete strangers, that the two parties are both corrupt beyond repair, and all politicians within these two parties are bought and paid for by the corporations.
They are working for the corporate interests, from the military industrial complex, to the banksters, to big oil and big pharma, and now the insurance industry, who will profit from the O…

Hello All Dissertation Students,
I am in the process of finding out a topic for a
anthropology dissertation , more specifically in forensic anthropology. Although I am quite sure what I want to do, I am interested in having views of others in the fields, and where they think research is lacking. With a bit of luck, my ideas will be amongst the areas suggested!
I am particularly interested in your…

Jesus drove out the money changers by using a cord to scatter the animals that were being sold for sacrifice, and the people, who would exchange Roman money for Jewish money, hence: money changers.
Jesus also turned over the tables of the money changers, and that act showed the displeasure of Jesus Christ explained His actions when He said:
"My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves."

Obama is going to continue expanding the USA Babylon Empire, and by sending another 20,000 expendable tools of the empire into Afghanistan and Pakistan, he is showing himself as equally guilty of war crimes as Bush, and all other presidents of this evil empire for the last hundred years, and by the way more innocent Human Beings living in Pakistan were murdered this week by the Evil Empire's newest favorite killing gadget; the unmanned predator drone, operated by some video gamer dressed in camo…

On December 12th, two anti-war US Veterans joined World Can't Wait members at a new progressive High School in East New York, Brooklyn. Since the students weren’t unaccustomed to the advances of the ROTC, when 75 of the sophomores and juniors participated in the We Are Not Your Soldiers program, there was much information about the war and military recruiters which needed to be set free. The students viewed two videos, “Winter Soldier” (http://ivaw.org/wintersoldier/testimony) and a World Can't…

We went to the Media Arts Academy which focuses on art, hip hop and media. It was mainly black and Latino students. The front of the school is gated up. The kids who were at these schools are kids who have been kicked out of regular school either because they didn’t fit in there or they didn’t like regular high school. This school was almost shut down but the kids waged a battle to keep it open because it meant a lot to them to be in this kind of environment. The students don’t have recruiters i…
